Créquier
Créquier 's Heraldry a crest figure that only in the French Heraldry occurs.
This figure resembles a strongly stylized cherry tree with roots and is reminiscent of a seven-flame candlestick. The branches are 1: 2: 2: 2. The German name is Kriekenbaum , also Krekenbaum . The French term leads back to a noble family with the name Créquy , in whose coat of arms this heraldic figure is proven.
The heraldic figure runs at the ends of the branches in shapes similar to heart or linden leaves or small balls, which, according to the older heraldists , are supposed to be reminiscent of mushrooms. The typical heraldic colors are red, gold and rarely silver.
