Crayon Physics Deluxe is a mind computer game that shows and uses the physical properties of gravity in balls, sticks and many other objects in a 2D surface. It was designed by Petri Purho and published in early 2009.

Gameplay

The mouse cursor represents a paint pen with which various elements such as a square, triangle, ball, or simply a simple line can be drawn on a piece of paper. The drawn elements are immediately subject to gravity and thus act like in real life. So you can create seesaws, build swings or just set up a ramp. The aim of the game is to bring a red ball to a star. The given elements such as levels, trees and walls distinguish the 70 different levels of the game.

Level editor

The level editor gives the player the opportunity to create their own ideas and try them out. Levels you have created yourself can be uploaded to make them available to other players.

Award

In 2008 the game won first prize at the Independent Games Festival (IGF).
