Creem

Creem was an American music magazine that appeared monthly from 1969 to 1988. It was only a quarter of Rolling Stone's circulation , but was considered culturally influential. It was founded by Barry Kramer and Tony Reay in Detroit . One of the early and formative authors was the rock critic Lester Bangs . The magazine is also credited with creating the genre names “ punk ” and “ heavy metal ”.
