CryptoNote

CryptoNote describes an application protocol based on a white paper published by Nicolas van Saberhagen on October 13, 2013 under the domain cryptonode.org. The treatise deals with weak points in the bitcoin system and is intended to enable dialogue about improvements and further development of the protocol. Nothing is known about Saberhagen. Whether it is a person, a group and thus a pseudonym remains unclear, similar to Satoshi Nakamoto, who was the initiator of the program code for the blockchain of Bitcoin . A crypto currency originally based on CryptoNote according to the white paper is Monero with a focus on privacy . Crypto Night is one of the used to CryptoNote Proof-of-Work - algorithms .
