CthulhuTech is a science fiction and horror role-playing game created by Wildfire LLC and published by Sandstorm. It combines elements of the Cthulhu myth with anime mecha , horror and magic. The role-playing game is set in 2085 against the backdrop of a global conflict called Aeon War. In the course of this war, the earth was threatened twice by foreign powers, once by the black-skinned alien race called Nazzadi and the second time by the Mi-Go, an advanced alien civilization. In addition, the game also includes other factions, such as the ancient cult "Esoteric Order of Dagon", which are part of the Cthulhu myth. The game uses a proprietary ten-sided dice system (D10) called "Framewerk".

Inspirations

CthulhuTech was inspired by numerous animes, for example: Robotech, The Guyver and Neon Genesis Evangelion. However, the core inspiration comes from the work of HP Lovecraft.
