Cuba (band)

Air Cuba was formed from former chapterhouse drummers Ashley Bates and Christopher Andrews. The big beat -lastige rock duo was in the European club scene under the name of Cuba known.

The band was given the original name Cuba in honor of Christopher Andrews' mother, who was born in Cuba . Before the release of their first album in the USA, the name was changed to Air Cuba .

In the 1990s Andrews married the slow dive singer Rachel Goswell (divorced in 2000), who also participated in some of the recordings.
