The Culross West Church is a ruined church near the Scottish town of Culross in the Council Area Fife . In 1937 the building was listed as a Scheduled Monument . history

It is difficult to specify a construction period for the church. It is said that the Culross West Church was in ruins by 1633 at the latest. One assumes an early pre-Reformation church. A morgue was added on the south side during the 17th century. The earliest tombstones in the surrounding cemetery date from 1620. Three tombstones from the 16th century lean against the east wall of the church ruins.

description
