Objection of poverty
The Dürftigkeitseinrede designated inheritance of Germany a plea that the heir to the compulsory portion - of, Legacy and other claims and creditors can raise. This is possible if the estate cannot even cover the costs of an estate insolvency or an estate administration, so it is “poor” in this sense. It is regulated in Section 1990 of the Civil Code .
