Nozzle cooler (computer)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A nozzle cooler is a special type of CPU cooler whose cooling medium is water . The design of the cooler is based on the fact that a turbulent flow is generated in a small passage by the water jet hitting an impact surface. The heat transfer also improves due to the high flow velocity and the turbulence . The nozzle cooler is probably the most common type of heat sink for water cooling at the moment. This cooler is best suited for CPUs without a heatspreader .
