Digital Bibliography & Library Project

The Digital Bibliography & Library Project ( DBLP , German  "Digitales Bibliographie- und Bibliotheksprojekt" / dblp computer science bibliography ) is an online bibliographic collection of scientific publications in the field of computer science . The original focus was initially on the sub-areas of database systems and logic programming . Therefore, DBLP previously stood for DataBase systems and Logic Programming . In the meantime, the bibliography has been expanded to include other areas of computer science.

DBLP was founded by Michael Ley at the Chair for Databases and Information Systems at the University of Trier , and after a joint operation with the University of Trier, it was now fully operated as a service of the Leibniz Center for Computer Science at Schloss Dagstuhl from 2010 to 2018 . Information on more than 4,074,000 entries is available. Metadata is collected from publications in the field of computer science and closely related topics. Mainly it concerns conference and journal articles.
