The sulphurous stinker springs near Neudorf south of Weseritz had been known since the 16th century . In 1803, the first bath house with 22 rooms was set up on the site of today's old bath. The owner of the Weseritz lordship, Hereditary Prince Konstantin zu Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rosenberg , acquired the spa in 1836 and generously expanded the spa facilities. The resulting town of Bad Neudorf was named Konstantinsbad in his honor in 1900 .

In 1872 the Princely House of Löwenstein sold the baths to the Pankraz operating company in Pilsen, which from 1874 built the New Baths with a chapel and several pavilions two kilometers away. With the construction of the Neuhof – Weseritz local railway , Konstantinsbad received a railway connection in 1901. At the beginning of the 20th century there were springs in Konstantinsbad for mineral water containing iron, mud baths and a health resort.

After the First World War , the region was added to the newly created Czechoslovakia in 1919 . Due to the Munich Agreement , the place came to the German Reich in 1938 and belonged to the district of Tepl , administrative district of Eger , in the Reichsgau Sudetenland until 1945 . The place was inhabited by Germans until the expulsion in 1945/1946 after the end of the Second World War .

Konstantinovy Lázně is the only health resort in Plzeňský kraj today .

2.5 km south of the district of Dlouhé Hradiště rises above the Hadovka valley the ruins of the Gutštejn castle . Northeast of Konstantinovy Lázně are the remains of the Falstein on a spur above the valley of the Úterský potok , below the castle lies the castle rock .
