Kšice (German Kscheutz ) is a municipality with 194 inhabitants (January 1, 2004) in the Czech Republic . It is located 6 km north of Stříbro at an altitude of 488 m above sea level. M.

history

The first mention of the village dates from 1369. In the vicinity of the village in a mountain area Lousy carried silver - and lead mining . At the end of the 19th century, the last mine on the right of the road to Unola was closed.

Until the abolition of patrimonial Kscheutz belonged to the Trpísty - Třebel dominion . The place was parish after Welperschitz , but had a church.

After the Munich Agreement , the place was added to the German Reich and until 1945 belonged to the district of Mies . In 1939 there were 324 people in Kscheutz.

Between July 1, 1980 and January 1, 1992, Kšice was a district of Stříbro .

Kšice was built around a village square with a pond. The Church of the Assumption of Mary characterizes the townscape. Due to various renovations, its original shape was lost and it fell into disrepair during communist rule. Repairs have been carried out on the structure for some time. The furnishings come from the Baroque period .
