Vranov (German Wranowa ) is a municipality with 175 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019) in the Czech Republic .
geography
location
The municipality of Vranov is located three kilometers east of Stříbro at an altitude of 392 m above sea level. M., at the upper end of the Hracholusky reservoir , between the confluences of the Petrský potok and the Sytenský potok in the Mies . The resort has a campsite.
Community structure
Vranov consists of the districts and cadastral districts Svinná ( Swina ) and Vranov.
history
The first mention of Wranowa comes from the year 1231. Wranowa was parish after Mies . In 1939, 147 people lived in the village. In 1960 Svinná became a district of Vranov. On April 30, 1976, it was incorporated into the town of Stříbro, and since January 1, 1992 Vranov has been an independent municipality again.
