history
The first mention of the place comes from the year 1227. In the 14th century Kokašice came into the possession of the Schwanbergs , who can be traced back to the neighboring Krasíkov since 1287. When the property was divided between Heinrich, Bohuslav and Johann von Schwanberg in 1507, Kokaschitz came to the Weseritz part. Later the place came under the rule Trpist - Triebl , to which he belonged until the abolition of patrimonial rule . Kokaschitz was parish in Tscheliv. In 1838 the village had 223 inhabitants. In 1901 the place received a railway connection through the local line Neuhof – Weseritz . In 1939 there were 447 people in Kokaschitz, including Schwanberg. In the period from January 1, 1980 to November 24, 1990 Kokašice was a district of Konstantinovy Lázně .
The eastern part of Kokašice is the oldest, it was built around a village square with a pond. From 1838 the village expanded in a westerly direction.
Culture and sights
In addition to the located in the district of Krasíkov ruins of the castle Švamberk (German Schwanberg , Švamberk ) has Kokašice further monuments. A house from the beginning of the 19th century that once belonged to a mill has well-preserved half-timbered gables. On the western edge of the village, at the point where Bavůrek von Schwanberg killed a Pilsen citizen's son, there is a stone atonement cross.

At the time the railway line went into operation in 1901, the station belonged to the Konstanins Bad 1.3 km away and was named after it. In 1906 Konstanins Bad was given a nearby train station, which in 1936 became the only train station in Konstanins Bad . The original station was renamed Kokaschitz station . After the end of World War II it was given the name Konstantinovy Lázně and then finally renamed Kokašice .
