Horní Kozolupy (German Ober Kozolup , also Ober Gosolup , Ober Kosolup ) is a municipality with 257 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019) in the Czech Republic . It is located 11 km north of Stříbro at an altitude of 518 m above sea level. M. and belongs to the Okres Tachov .
history
The first mention of the place comes from the year 1237. At that time the village was owned by the Shuchta of Kozolup. Since the end of the 14th century the village belonged to the Counts of Guttenstein. The St. Peter and Paul Church already existed at this time; In 1394 Dietrich von Guttenstein exercised the patronage of the church. In the 15th century the place passed to the Leskau line of the Schwanberger and came under the rule of Zebau in the following century . The parish village was later part of the Weseritz rule until the patrimonial rule was abolished . Since the second half of the 18th century to distinguish it from the same village Kosolup the name Upper Kozolup common. In 1939, 383 people lived in Ober Kozolup, including the street houses and Welzkahäusel.
On January 1, 1980 Horní Kozolupy was incorporated into Cebiv . Since November 24, 1990 it has been an independent municipality again.

The municipality Horní Kozolupy consists of the districts Horní Kozolupy, Očín ( Utzin ), Slavice ( Mariafels ) and Strahov ( Strahof ), which also form cadastral districts. Horní Kozolupy also includes the Líběvice, Machařov, Silniční domky ( street houses ) and Vlčkov residential areas .
