Záchlumí (German Eisenhüttel ) is a municipality with 387 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019) in the Czech Republic . It is located 6 km northwest of Stříbro at the source of the Petrský potok, a tributary of the Mies . That at a height of 497 m above sea level. M. located on the western slope of the Stelka (545 m) belongs to the Okres Tachov .
history
The first mention of the place comes from the year 1359. In the Middle Ages the place was owned by citizens or the municipality of Mies . In the 18th century he became part of the Weseritz rule . The parish was Gosolup , the local Church of the Nativity was a branch church. Between 1890 and 1923 Eisenhüttel belonged to Wikau (Víchov).
After the Munich Agreement , the place was added to the German Reich and until 1945 belonged to the district of Mies . In 1939 220 people lived in the place.
On January 1, 1980, Záchlumí was incorporated into Stříbro . Since November 24, 1990 it has been an independent municipality again.
VON INTERNATIONAL sro, which produces packaging for confectionery, is located in the village.
Attractions
The baroque Church of the Birth of the Virgin Mary was originally a Gothic structure and was rebuilt between 1699 and 1701. In 1838 she received the hexagonal onion dome. Today the building is very dilapidated and the equipment has been demolished.
