history
The village of Svaysin was mentioned for the first time in 1176. The construction of the Peter and Paul Church is around 1180. In the 14th century the village in Oberschweißing was divided with the Peter and Paul Church and a castle complex . On the other bank of the Mies was Unterschweißing, which also received a church, although the time of its construction is unknown.
The feudal lords were initially the lords of welding, who later called themselves Zmrzlík of welding .
Welding was owned by the noble family from Paběnice auf Nalžovy , who changed their name to Svojský von Nalžovy since the 15th century . By marriage in the 2nd half of the 16th century the rule came to the Příchovský von Příchovice, who owned it until the end of the 18th century. In 1795, welding was bought by Josef Johann Ritter von Bigatto. After his death in 1812 Anton Karl Josef Freiherr von Juncker on Oberkunreuth was appointed heir. Until the abolition of patrimonial rule in 1850, the village remained in the possession of the Juncker-Bigatto family. Welding Castle came in 1935 as an inheritance to Count Clemens von Podewils-Juncker-Bigatto (* 1905, † 1978) and was the center of his family's life until 1945.
In 1939 the place in the district of Mies including its districts Hollin and Lingau had 632 inhabitants.
