Sophie Dorothee von Podewils
Sophie Dorothee Countess von Podewils (-Juncker-Bigatto), b. Freiin von Hirschberg (born February 16, 1909 in Bamberg , † October 5, 1979 in Starnberg ) was a German narrator and poet.
She studied painting and graphics in Brussels and Paris and in 1932 married Count Clemens von Podewils , with whom she lived until 1945 at Schloss Schweinging (Svojšín in western Bohemia). She was a poet , narrator , essayist and translator. Her daughter is the author Barbara von Wulffen .
