Franz Ziegler (politician, 1899)

Franz Ziegler (born June 23, 1899 in Lingau , Bohemia , † December 30, 1949 ) was a German politician ( CSU , later Bavaria party ).

Life

After graduating from high school in Mies , he studied law in Prague and received his doctorate there. jur. Since 1930 he was a lawyer in Mies, during World War II he was an officer and judge-martial .

In 1945 he held the office of district administrator and mayor in Mies. After his expulsion, he was first the judge and chief magistrate in Cham , then deputy to the State Secretary for Refugees in Bavaria . In 1948 first drafted into the Bavarian State Parliament for the CSU as a replacement for August Schwingenstein , he soon switched to the Bavarian Party. From the first federal election he was a member of the Bundestag until his death . He was elected via the state list of the Bavarian Party (BP) in Bavaria.

The fact that a Sudeten German was elected on the list of the old Bavarian indigenous party BP is explained by the fact that the Bavarians regard the Sudeten Germans as "tribal relatives".
