Erpužice (German Welperschitz ) is a municipality with 337 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2019) in the Czech Republic . It is located seven kilometers northeast of Stříbro at an altitude of 460 m above sea level. M.

The place is located on the railway line from Pňovany to Bezdružice . A recreation area begins south of the Malovice district around the elongated Hracholusky reservoir , in which the Mies is dammed.

history

The first mention of the place dates back to 1175, when Duke Soběslav II. The monastery Plasy several site, including Crposiz left. Later the village came back into secular possession, in 1329 Sulco de Erposicz juvenis was the landlord. Since 1395 it belonged to the Habard family, who called themselves Busconis de Hrádek (Bušek von Hrádek) from the 15th century. At the beginning of the 17th century, the lords of Hrádek united the manor with that of Trpísty .

After the Munich Agreement , the place was added to the German Reich and until 1945 belonged to the district of Mies . In 1939, 187 people lived in the village.

Attractions

The most important architectural monument is the parish church of St. Margarethen in the center of the village, the onion dome of which is visible from afar.

Sports airfield

Sightseeing flights are offered at the non-public internal airfield (LKER) of the Aero Club Erpužice, which is close to the village. There is also the possibility of parachuting at this field airfield at Vojenský Paraklub Erpužice.

Community structure

The municipality Erpužice consists of the districts Blahousti ( Blahussen ), Erpužice and Malovice ( Malowitz ), which at the same time also form cadastral districts.
