The DENA transmitter was a broadcasting facility of the German news agency in Frankfurt-Seckbach , which served to distribute press reports on the long-wave frequency 139 kHz under the call sign DCF39 in radio teletype mode . The DENA transmitter used several 132 meter high masts. In September 1963 the plant burned out. After it was shut down in the mid-1980s (1997?), The system was demolished; the tuning house with the bushing insulator is still there.
