The women's football club Heidenreichstein is an Austrian women's football club from Heidenreichstein . The team played in the ÖFB women's league for several years .
history
The DFC Heidenreichstein was founded in 1981 as a department of the Heidenreichstein football club, but later became independent. In 1985, the team played second class for the first time when they took part in the women's league east organized by the Vienna Football Association . In 1987 she rose as the league leader for the first time in the first division. After three years, the club was relegated to the second division, but managed to return in 1992. As third in the 1993/94 season, the team achieved their best result before relegated again in 1998. In the following years she played second class until at the end of the 2009/10 season a relegation place was occupied and the club was relegated to the third class national league. The club has been playing in the Lower Austrian regional league again since 2016.
