Every classroom in Thai schools has been equipped with televisions since 2009. The reason is the learning television DLTV (Distance Learning Television). There are educational programs for elementary school students through to language programs in English, German and French in secondary schools. At present, unencrypted broadcasts are being made on 15 program slots via the Thaicom 5 78.5 ° E satellite .
