DTAC

DTAC (Total Access Communication Public Company Limited) is the second largest mobile operator in Thailand and belongs to the Telenor group. The company was founded in 1989. The market capital is just over 100 billion baht .

In addition to GSM and GPRS , DTAC also offers EDGE , AMPS , 3G and 4G LTE. Roaming agreements have been concluded with 147 countries.

At the end of 2009 DTAC (written as dtac in the logo) had around 30% market share in the Thai mobile communications market with 19.7 million customers. The managing director is the Norwegian Tore Johnsen. The financial year ends on December 31st. The balance sheet audits are carried out by Ernst & Young .
