Daduchos

Daduchos (Greek: δᾳδοῦχος, from δᾶις + ἔχω "torchbearer") is

  • in Greek mythology an epithet of the moon goddess Artemis (Orph. h. 36.3)
  • the name of the second high priest in the Eleusinian mysteries, whose office in the Eleusinian priestly family of the Keryks was hereditary, see Hierophant
