Dakoslavs

Dakoslaven (also called Dakoslawen ) referred to the Slavs living in Dacia . The area was first settled by Slavs in the 6th century. As early as the 6th century, the local tribes split into Anten and Slovênen. Even today there are numerous place names of Slavic origin in Transylvania.

In the 20th century they were even referred to as the third ethnic group in Transylvania alongside the East and West Slavs and were seen as the ancestors of the Karaschowans .
