Damana Adia Pickass

Damana Adia Pickass is an Ivorian politician. He was a member of the Independent Electoral Commission in December 2010 and is considered a supporter of Laurent Gbagbo .

Pickass was vice chairman of the Ivory Coast Students' Union (FESCI).

On the evening of November 30, 2010, the first attempt in the seat of the electoral commission to announce the final results of the 2010 presidential elections failed . The cameras of the state broadcaster Radiodiffusion-Télévision ivoirienne (RTI) and various international broadcasters such as RFI , BBC , CNN and Radio 24 were present . When the CEI spokesman announced the first partial results, Damana Adia Pickass violently prevented him from continuing with the words “ We did not authorize these results ”. The government crisis in 2010/2011 followed .
