Danava
The Danavas ( Sanskrit दानव dānava m. ) Are demonic beings in Hinduism and belong to the Asuras .
mythology
The Danavas are considered children of Danu and the sage Kashyapa . Her head is Viprachitti , who through Holika is father of Rahu . They live in the underworld (Patala) and are enemies of the gods.
Puloman , another Danava, is the father of Sachi , whom the thunder god Indra led away in robbery. Puloman then cursed the god of thunder, but was killed by him.
