Dario Buccino
Dario Buccino (* 1968 in Rome ) is an Italian composer .
In 1991 Buccino started developing the HN system . This consists of its own notation technique, its own representation technique and its own composition technique and is based on the parameterization of physical actions. In 1993 Buccino founded “Laboratorio Aperto Fatti Sonori”, an ensemble that specializes in the implementation of scores. Since 1997 Buccino has expanded the HN system to include steel plates.
Buccino's musical activity spans a multitude of different areas: In addition to his research as an experimental composer and performer, Buccino also works as a composer for cinema and theater, as an interpreter, as a musical advisor, as a rock, pop and jazz composer, as an arranger and Guitarist and singer-songwriter, street musician and music journalist.
In 1999 the Australian label Extreme published a DVD and CD about Buccino's work under the title “Corpo Nostro”.
