content

Roy Tucker has been in jail for five years. He was sentenced to twenty years in prison for murder and shares the cell with Oscar, who has become his best friend. Some mysterious men in black, with the knowledge of the prison director, offer Roy a bargain: the freedom to do an unspecified job for them to do. Roy agrees, but also demands freedom for Oscar.

The two prisoners arrive in Chicago with forged IDs. Here Roy learns that he is about to commit murder and refuses. The strangers threaten to kill Oscar, but Roy refuses again. Now Oscar is shot. Roy confronts the client and again refuses to carry out the assignment. Now they announce to him that in this case his wife will also be killed.

Roy carries out the apparently politically motivated contract killing. After that he is worthless for the client, even dangerous and is hunted, but can escape. He seeks shelter on the abandoned farm where he grew up and from now on has to live with the worry that one day he will be found.
