The Grabfeld is the annual home page for culture, history and customs in the Grabfeld . It is distributed free of charge to every household in the Altlandkreis Bad Königshofen in Grabfeld . The purpose of the paper is to develop the history of the local area and to preserve local customs. It is published by the Association for Local History in Grabfeld eV ( Rhön-Grabfeld district ).

The grave field has been published since 1995 and usually comprises 28 pages. So far (2015) 23 episodes have appeared. The publication of the Heimatblätter u. a. from the towns and communities in the Bad Königshofen and Römhild area , the local banks, the Rhön-Grabfeld district and the LIONS Club Bad Königshofen.

Home papers have a long tradition in the Grabfeld. From 1900 to 1904 the “ Archive for the Koenigshofen District ”, from 1931 to 1954 the “Blätter für Heimatkunde”, from 1968 to 1982 “Am Kornstein” and from 1988 to 1994 “Am Kornstein neu” appeared, each as a supplement to the local newspaper " Messenger from the grave field ". The association for local history in Grabfeld with its chairman, the cultural advisor of the district of Rhön-Grabfeld Hanns Friedrich, continues this long tradition under the direction of the editor and 2nd chairman of the district home and archive curator Reinhold Albert . The Association for Local History in Grabfeld has also published 35 magazines and books on various topics on art and the history of the region in a series of publications.
