content

In the letter, Shoghi Effendi calls on the North American Baha'i to rise up to establish the world order of Baha'u'llah . Shoghi Effendi describes the possibilities of the Baha'i and their responsibility, their mission and their tasks to be carried out and presents the necessary spiritual requirements for success: a high conception of moral righteousness in their social and administrative activities, absolute chastity in the life of each individual and complete freedom from Prejudice in their dealings with people of different races , classes, beliefs or skin color. He calls on the Baha'i, who can earn a living in foreign countries, to settle there to spread their faith. The goals of the seven-year plan (1937–1944) are to be achieved. Shoghi Effendi quotes passages from Baha'u'llah about the trials of the church ahead. Although the work was written shortly before the start of the Second World War , Shoghi Effendi outlines in it how the American nation can help in the creation of world peace in the future .
