Light is like water - Tales of Love and Other Things is a book with eleven short stories and short stories by Gabriel García Márquez , translated by Curt Meyer-Clason .

The work was released on November 4, 2005 after the publication date had been postponed several times. It was first published by Fischer Schatzinsel , but its external design fits in with the series of works by García Márquez published by Kiepenheuer & Witsch .
