Dashiqiao
The city of Dashiqiao ( Chinese 大 石桥 市 , Pinyin Dàshíqiáo Shì ) is an independent city in the district-free city of Yingkou in the northeast Chinese province of Liaoning . It has an area of 1,598 km² and has 725,000 inhabitants (2010).
The large Xiaoshengshuisi - magnesite - deposit located on its territory.
The local Jinniushan site ( 金牛山 遗址 , Jinniushan yizhi ), site of the fossils of the Jinniushan man , has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (3-183) since 1988 .
