Dassow (desert)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dassow was a residential area in the Prussian province of Pomerania .

The living space consisted of a yard (expansion) that was created around 1900 in the field mark of the village of Rossenthin . Dassow was about 1 ½ kilometers southwest of Rossenthin on the edge of the Rossenthiner spruce trees. In 1905 there were 14 residents here.

Until 1945 Dassow formed a place to live in the rural community of Rossenthin and belonged with this to the Kolberg-Körlin district of the Prussian province of Pomerania .

After 1945, the area, like all of Western Pomerania, came to Poland . Today the living space is desolate . The desert is in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship , in the municipality of the Polish Gmina Kołobrzeg (rural municipality Kolberg) .
