The journal Datenschutz Nachrichten (DANA) has been published by the German Association for Data Protection (DVD) since 1978 . DANA appears four times a year at the end of each quarter.
In addition to articles and information on the use and dangers of electronic data processing and the possible restriction of the right to informational self-determination , each issue of DANA reports on new developments in data protection , relevant case law and legislation, German and international data protection trends , and offers book reviews and references to publications the federal and state data protection officers.
The target groups of DANA are interested citizens, data protection and data security experts such as official and company data protection officers , staff and works councils , lawyers and employees in science, research and teaching.
