Permanent lubrication

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The permanent lubrication (even lifetime lubrication ) the contribution referred to a defined amount of lubricant in the manufacture of components. A suitable grease is usually used to ensure internal lubrication of the part over its entire life cycle .

While the lubricant is usually fed in successively during operation, with permanent lubrication it is introduced in such a way that it is always available. Sometimes special materials are used for this which are able to absorb lubricants, e.g. For example, by sintering of bearings .
