Dave Theurer

David Theurer is an American game programmer. In 1980 Theurer became known for his computer game Missile Command , which is one of the classics of the arcade game era of the early 1980s. Another game that had similar success and was also developed by Theurer is Tempest . Theurer also developed I, Robot , the first commercial video game with 3-D polygon graphics. All three games were distributed by the Atari company .
