David Hemenway

David Hemenway (* 1945 ) is an American economist . He teaches health policy at the Harvard School of Public Health and directs the Center for Research on the Damage to Society caused by Violence and Injury and the Center for Youth Violence Prevention.

Hemenway received a BA from Harvard University in 1966 and a Ph.D. in 1974. in economics.

He lives in Brookline with his wife and daughter .
