David McPartland

David McPartland (born September 11, 1980 in Albury ) is a former Australian cyclist , today's coach and sports director .

Career

McPartland turned pro at Tenax in 2004 . He won a stage of the Tour Down Under 2004 and a race of the Geelong Bay Classic Series 2005. In the UCI Oceania Tour 2005 he finished eighth overall. At the end of the 2007 season he ended his career and became the coach of the Australian U23 national team. Since 2012 he has been the sporting director of the women's cycling team GreenEdge-AIS .
