The dead fetus syndrome is a consumptive in the pregnancy .

It is caused by the death of the fruit of the womb ( fetus ) with subsequent behavior, i.e. the absence of a miscarriage . The triggering is probably the washing-up of proteolytic enzymes and tissue thrombokinase in the maternal circulation.
