Deadline (comic magazine)

Deadline was a British magazine published between 1988 and 1996 by comic artists Brett Ewins and Steve Dillon .

The magazine contained a mixture of comics and articles and was aimed at an adult readership. A substantial portion of the articles reported on Indie -Music and together with the comic strip received Deadline a subculture - Image . It is best known for the tank girl's first appearance in him. The rest of the content was partly new, partly reprints of comics from the USA (for example Milk and Cheese by Evan Dorkin or Planet Swerve by Glyn Dillon ). The content of Deadline was partly published in the USA by the publisher Dark Horse Comics .

The owner and financier was Tom Astor (grandson of Nancy Astor ), the editor was Frank Wynne .
