Coverage fund

A cover fund is a pool of collateral from which claims of creditors are satisfied.

Cover funds are used in the insurance sector to form a pool when claims for damages from the social security of an injured person and claims against the liability insurance of the injured person coincide (see also quota privilege ) .

The term is also used for additional collateral in the case of funded bank bonds .
