Decora is a type of pear (winter pear ) in the shape of a columnar pear . It is usually harvested at the beginning of October.

Appearance

The variety is a breed from the Czech Republic (Holovousy) and has a slightly climbing habit. Since it grows columnar, it is suitable for balconies and allotments . The location is preferably partially shaded with a soil that is not too dense and has a medium nutrient content. The medium-sized fruit is cone-shaped.

If stored optimally, this pear can be stored until February. The pear variety is fire blight resistant . However, the flower is sensitive to frost. It is recommended to plant an emerald pear for fertilization.
