Decrius Calpurnianus
Decrius Calpurnianus († autumn 48 AD) was a Roman knight of the early Imperial period .
Decrius Calpurnianus was prefect of the fire watch. According to the Roman historian Tacitus , like several other distinguished Romans , he was executed as a confidante of the adultery that the Empress Valeria Messalina had committed with the young senator Gaius Silius , in AD 48.
