Drawbar box

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The drawbar box is the box on the drawbar of a caravan , in which the gas bottles , possibly a spare wheel , a 12-volt battery for light and water pump supply, some water canisters and other accessories are housed.

In the past it was actually a separate box, but since the 1990s the drawbar box has been optically completely integrated into the body of the caravan.

The drawbar box must have sufficient ventilation so that any gas escaping from the gas bottles can escape downwards. The stipulations are 10 cm × 10 cm. The opening must never be closed or covered.
