Alma Delfina Martínez Ortega (born November 5, 1960 ) is a Mexican actress .

Life

She is related to some people in Mexican cinema. She is the sister of the director Gonzalo Martinez Ortega, as well as the sister of the writer Mario Iván Martínez and the actresses Socorro Bonilla and Evangelina Martínez. She herself is the aunt of the Mexican actors Roberto Sosa and Mario Iván Martínez, as well as the actress Evangelina Sosa.

Alma Delfina began her career in 1974 in the Mexican TV soap Mundo de juguete . In the 1970s, she was mainly seen in feature films. In the 1980s, she played in TV soaps in addition to feature films, e.g. B. Guadalupe (1984) and Chispita (1993). She is known to European audiences above all for her leading role in Bloody Highway 2 . In 1999 she moved to the United States of America and established herself in the well-known TV series Emergency Room and Miami: CSI .
