Democratická strana zelených

Democratická strana zelených (DSZ), German Democratic Party of the Greens , is a political party founded in 2009 in the Czech Republic . Along with Strana zelených / Party of the Greens and Zelení / The Greens , it is the third party in the country's green spectrum.

The party, which sees itself as a civil association with a strong emphasis on democratic principles, disarmament and peaceful coexistence, arose after internal disputes in which the leadership of the Green Party was accused of intolerance and a lack of political culture, among other things. Registration took place on March 10, 2009.

Most of the members come from the ranks of the Green Party, including the Green Party MP Olga Zubová , who was expelled from her old party but did not step down, making the new Green Democratic Party up to was represented in the parliamentary elections in the Czech Republic in 2010 ; she has also been the chairman of the new party since June 2009. Critics of the party said in particular that the establishment, which took place shortly before the European Parliament elections (the 2009 House of Representatives elections were postponed), would only fragment and consequently the failure of the whole green movement.
