Demon in Six Flags Great America ( Gurnee , Illinois ) is a steel roller coaster from the Model Custom Looping Coaster manufacturer's Arrow Dynamics , which on May 29, 1976 Turn Of The Century was opened.

At the time of its opening, it only owned the 11 m high, double corkscrew as an inversion . Two loops were added for the 1980s season, the first 21 m high and the second 17 m high. The 649 m long route reaches a height of 31 m and has a 27 m high first drop of 54 °. The top speed is 81 km / h. An identical facility was opened on the same day with the same name in California's Great America . This also drives today under the name Demon .

Trains

Demon owns three trains with six cars each. Four people (two rows of two people) can be seated in each car. Passengers must be at least 1.07 m tall to be allowed to ride. Shoulder straps are used as a restraint system.
