Arrow Dynamics Inc. (short: Arrow ) was an American manufacturer of roller coasters and other rides from Clearfield ( Utah ), which was founded in 1946 by Ed Morgan and Karl Bacon .

history

Arrow set the standard in the roller coaster industry. In 1959, the Matterhorn Bobsleds in Disneyland, California, laid the foundation for modern steel roller coasters. The tubular rails allowed a smooth ride and tight radii . Runaway Mine Train in Six Flags Over Texas was the first mine roller coaster and corkscrew in Silverwood Theme Park , which stood at Knott's Berry Farm until 1990 , was the first modern roller coaster with inversions . The first Hyper Coaster opened with the Magnum XL-200 at Cedar Point , breaking the 200- foot height  . The last milestone was set in 2002 with X 2 (at the time of opening X ) in Six Flags Magic Mountain , the world's first 4th dimension coaster . After the company went bankrupt in 2002 , it was bought by the manufacturer S&S Power .
